Graduation Ceremony at The O2

Hello there! I know I've mentioned a few times that I have graduated but my ceremony was only last Thursday! The 20th of November 2014 is the day I walk up on stage to shake Lord Patel's hand, and he knew my name! WOT WOT?! Well he didn't really know my name since it was announce right before I walked up to him but ya know, it felt like he knew it... I wasn't the biggest fan of the whole graduating idea given I had already received my certificate via post and it'd cost me £100 just to get the tickets and gown hired but my proud dad wanted to go and I thought I'd do it for him.

on the way there, yes we took public transport but we still traveled in style.... *pause for laughter..... :/*

Barbara Windsor presented with her Honorary Doctorate.

In the end, it was a day all about me! I was wrapped in a lot of emotions on that day. I was happy that my Dad and Aunty came all that way just to support me for one day, I felt prouder than ever to have achieved a degree (even if it is just a photography degree), and I was sad but mostly relieved that a chapter of my life has now come to a close. I am so so grateful to have made few close friends that will always be there for me. Let's not forget the many 'haters' that I will probably (hopefully) never see again, thank you all for being a part of my growth, helping me on my journey to be the person I want to be.

Let's talk fashion and beauty choices. My dress is from Oasis and my little boots are Miss Selfridge. I love the gorgeous royal blue colour on this dress as it is not an easy colour to miss, I think that this dress was perfect for the occasion as most of it was covered by the gown, my dress acted as a nice little colour block to break up the dark glum fabric that is the gown. I didn't have any heels that would go with tights and I was not prepared to bare my legs in this cold weather so I opted for tights and heeled boots. Practical for walking and the little gold detail (link) adds a slight sophistication to the shoe. Can I just say these boots are surprisingly comfy! As for my make up... I am not a fan at all! It was all a little rushed, I had just bought a brand new Sleek eye pallet and decided to go to town with colour. Expectation did not meet up with reality. It's safe to say that I will be practicing various colourful eye make up looks at home so keep your eyes peeled for many MANY experimental looks.

Official photograph should be coming soon!
