What's on My Face?

Valencia Filter

Hope you are all making the most out of this Bank Holiday Weekend! I have myself had a rather eventful one myself and feels like I'm on cloud 9!

I'm not sure if I've done a post on my face but I have a couple of new additions which I have been loving and would love to share it with you all, so let's get on with it shall we...

Liz Earle Foundation | Signature Foundation £21

The three newly boxed foundations and my two old ones.

04 Almond | 03 Nude | 02 Ivory

First up is of course my Liz Earle foundation! I have always mixed shade 02 and 04 to create my own shade, but it was only recently when I was about to re-purchase the same shades that I realized they did a shade between the two. I always thought the shade in between was made for skin tones with pink undertones BUT turns out it was for warmer undertones. I was too chicken to just order the new shade so I ordered my two regular shades as well. Logic behind this was, I could get tanned and might need to add a darker shade to shade 03, and if not, then I can always use the darker shade to contour and the lighter one to highlight. Or just use it like I have been doing in the past. It's a win win situation all round!

The middle shade is actually pretty accurate shade for me, it is a little off but once it settles on my face, the color tends to adapt to my natural skin color.
Bourjois Paris | Maxi Delight Bronzer £8.99

Next up is this bronzer. I literally picked it up because it was the last bronzer left on the bourjois counter at boots. There was also the chocolate ones but I wasn't entirely convince by the smell or cardboard packaging so I opted for this one instead. It has a very slight shimmer and adds that little glow to my face. I use this to add a subtle contour to define my cheekbones. A little goes a long way with this product! I have been using it for about a month now and it still looks brand new, the little design that came with it is un-noticeably touched.

I didn't really examine this bronzer when I was at boots BUT thankfully it is made for olive/tanned skin! It is just perfect for me, I love it so much!

There seems to be a pixel glitch in the right photo around my lips, it is not because I have a lot of foundation on in that area as you can see in the photo on the left... IT IS BUGGING ME SO MUCH!

and what better way to finish the post with more #selfies!

Hope you've enjoyed this post! Let me know what you think in the comments ;)

Until next time,
Grace

*I always use my smashbox primer before applying foundation, and my bourjois healthy balance matter powder to finish but did not give it a mention in this post as they are not a new addition*
