LIFE UPDATE

A photo posted by Grace Lee (@gracetakesphotos) on

Hey hey hey! There has been so much going on in my life these last couple of weeks, all very exciting and scary at the same time... Just thought I would do a quick post to update you on what's happening and why I haven't been blogging as frequently as I would like to.

First update, I moved! Yes I have finally moved into my new place and I am loving it so far. There's been a couple of bumps since I've moved in. One of the bumps being me trying to fix our lock, cause it was broken and to be fair I did fix the lock part, just didn't put the spring back in the right place and it bounced out of place when the door was shut and I managed to lock Sylwia (my new roomie) and I in the room! HAHA! We had to pay for a new door but I managed to find a handyman that came round to give me a free quote, bought the door, lock, and some timber to fix the split section of the door frame, and he only charged me £30 for his labor! People like this are so hard to come by, especially in London.... everyone's all about that dollar.

Don't ask me why, but I documented the whole thing so here's some photos.

Second Update, I got a new job! I will be working at a private members club for children, where I will be playing with kids all day long. I mean it's not a career job like I hoped but I now have a full time contract, which means financial stability for a while.

That's all the big updates for now. I apologize for the lack of posts and I want to apologize in advance if I  cannot do regular posts in the next few weeks. I have been working 6 days a week for the last couple of weeks, and will be doing the same this coming week, BUT I will get it sorted soon and get my free time back! Just bare with me and the blogposts will be on their way soon...

Until next time,
Grace

  2. Getting locked in is no fun experience. I dare say it’s even worse than getting locked out of your room or house. Anyway, it’s great that you found a handyman that did not charge much to get the door and lock replaced. Good luck with the new job and place!
