Big Empties Post #1

Last time I did an empties post was back in May and I have been collecting yet more empties since then, so there is a lot to go through... it's so bizarre to think how much we go through in a day yet I've never really noticed how many products I actually used until I started writing this blog. I normally just throw away what I've bought and never give it a second thought, but it is quite scary to think how much I use, and how many products I could never see myself without. Like, I have already repurchased a good few empties, and will probably carry on doing so in the foreseeable future.

Let's get on with it!

First up, Nivea body wash! They always have these on offer at boots for £1 and I always always stock up on these! Think I did go through a couple more bottles but I just forgot to pop them in my empties bag but I am sure I did have them down in a haul post somewhere. This particular one is actually one of my lesser favourite scents, there's just something about it that I dislike. It's not necessarily Nivea's fault because I do really love most of their other scents, but this one just reminds me a teenage boys shower gel in a way. Not a fan of smelling like a teenage boy to be honest. However still a fan of Nivea body washes and have already repurchase a couple, from boots, for £1.

Dry shampoo is just as good as it gets for me. I'm not a particularly dirty person so I don't really need to wash my hair everyday but I am blessed with great hair oils, which does tend to make my hair, particularly around the roots, quite greasy. Dry shampoo takes away the grease and helps my freshly washed hair stay fresh for days! This is my favourite and probably the only scent that I have been religiously buying for a couple of years now and I've already repurchased another can of this bad boy.

If you read my blog, you've probably heard of this product a few times before. It isn't something usual that people have in their beauty boxes and this have lasted me a good while. This serum gel thing (still not quite sure what it is) is used as a sort of moisturiser substitute. I don't think I could use this alone but when I feel like having a very light, yet still effective layer of moisturiser on my skin, this is what I tend to turn to. I used this a lot more during the more heated days, such as the very few, although very hot summer days we've been lucky enough to have in London. Anyone knows when summer is coming?

When you think of Oasis, the last thing that comes to mind is... well candles. If I didn't work there, I probably would never even think about purchasing a candle but this was displayed on the cashiers at work, and the smells was so fresh, pleasant, and just subtle enough to entice me into giving it a good old sniff whenever I was close by. Yes, I did look like a weirdo but it was worth it. The scent is 'Pear and Freesia', I don't what freesia smells like but this definitely smells like sweet sweet peaches. It was perfect for the summertime and made my room that little bit more sweeter, made me feel refreshed and relaxed, was just what I needed after a long days work!

I'm sure everyone knows that I am a Liz Earle fan! I use pretty much all the essential stuff like cleanser, toner, moisturiser, and foundation from her brand. Needless to say I will keep on repurchasing as long as they keep on making! I did go through a month or two without this stuff, and you wouldn't think it but it makes a huge difference to the wellbeing of my skin. Toner is used after your cleanser, it helps remove any excess make up and just generally calms my skin down. If you read the description on the website, I'm sure you will be tempted to buy it yourself too!

Mouthwash is just one of those products that you kinda need in life. This one was recommended by my dentist and doesn't particularly have the best taste but it does what it needs to do and I can't complain really.

Smashbox primer is something that I think every beauty enthusiast need to try out at least once in their life. There is nothing bad that I can say about this product at all, it evens out the skin and leaves it with a matte canvas for you to apply your foundation to. One thing that I also love about this is the packaging, it's sleek as it is but when you have reach the very end, you can also cut it in half and get every last bit of product out so I don't feel like I am wasting anything. This one has lasted me around 5 to 6 months so it's definitely worth the money.

The blendercleanser is something that I was so excited to try out. I do think it is a good product and I love the dispenser that is built in to the bottle however I don't think I will be repurchasing this as I feel like hand soap or bodywash would do just as well as this, and those are much cheaper than this cleanser. I am sure the cleanser is probably better for the wear of my beauty blender but I have been using hand soap/body wash for a couple of months now and I haven't seen the effects or damage to the wear of the sponge. I think I will probably have to replace it by the time there is any wear or tear anyway.

I am generally a fan Nivea products as a whole, think I got this on offer for £1 in one of the superdrug stores and it was just something I threw in my handbag so that I was prepared if ever I needed a bit of moisturising. It was a nice size to carry around as well.

This is one of my more favourable empties. I loved this sample product! I was extremely skeptical about cleansing oils before I try this, and it did take some getting use to but it removes make up so well, and leaves your skin feeling grease free, which is unusual considering this is an oil. All very confusing stuff, I know!

I have been using this powder for a while now. It is very good at keeping your skin matte and flawless, you do need to touch up as the day goes by but that's pretty much all make up so I'm not too bothered about it. You could use this powder by itself or as a setting powder. Already repurchased and planning to stock up on more as well. Just giving you all a heads up, this product will probably make an appearance in all my future empties post.

Think I will end this post here as I am getting a little tired of wm not even sure if half the stuff I wrote in this post made sense, if it did not then maybe just look at the photos and ignore the writing haha. I will try and write up the rest of this empties post and get it out as soon as possible!

Until then,
Grace
