Beauty Bar | Pink Parcel

The Pink Parcel is a beautifully monthly subscription box filled with even more little boxes and goodies inside! We have all heard of monthly subscription beauty boxes that you can subscribe to and receive an intriguing box featuring new brands and products that you may or may not have heard of, this is a great idea although not for everyone as I feel certain beauty products might not be to my taste, or maybe the skincare might not work well with my skin type, so it all can be a little hit and miss and I don't want to be spending my money on something that I might not even enjoy!

The Pink Parcel is an altogether more tailored and unique subscription box as it is the concept is all based around your monthly (ehem... ladies) cycle. To put this in more blunt terms, it is a box that will be delivered to you every month around your time of the month. All you have to do is put in your dates on their website and a lovely Pink Parcel will automatically be sent to you to put you in a good mood in those more hormonal periods (pun intended) of time.

SASS had their own stand at the Beauty Bar event so there will be more about this brand and their products in another post!

Two boxes of tampons (or pads) of your choice of brand for later so you don't have to worry about going out to get your own! Saving you the time and potential awkward encounters, I mean your period is nothing to be embarrassed about but I do have to "put on a brave face" when I am holding my pads or tampons in boots or the supermarket... guessed I'm just programmed to feel embarrassed when it is a completely normal part of every woman's life.

Small bag of tampons to fit snugly and discretely in your handbag.

I love this whole concept but my favorite part, along with most other women's favorite part was the FOR YOU box! It's a little box filled with lots of lovely treats, the caption on the front of the box says 'A little something to cheer you up', even just reading that puts a smile on my face! Even though the box seems small, you do tend to get a lot of treats inside as you can see in the photos above. I might do another blogpost reviewing all these products in here, I didn't want to make this post too long and plus I didn't really get time to play with all of these wonderful treats as I have been quite busy with work and you know, living. But how adorable is that necklace?!

A little mention, Pink Parcel was giving out tea at the event and the tea I had was lemon and ginger, I think the brand was teafields(?), and it was honestly one of the most gorgeous teas I have ever tasted in my entire life! You could really taste the lemon and the ginger, but it was perfectly balanced and the flavors complimented each other wonderfully. I love how this monthly subscription box is almost like an essential rather than an unnecessary splurge, you get what you need and a few added bonuses in there too.

If you love this idea as much as I do then you can get your first parcel for just £7.95! Head over to their website here to find out more.

Hope you've enjoyed this post. Would like to say a huge thank you to the Pink Parcel for gifting me this lovely box of treats, I feel well and truly spoiled! Also, I'd love to know what your thoughts are on this type of subscription box, so please do let me know what you think in the comments below. Are you currently subscribed to any sort of boxes?

See you in the next post!

Until then,
Grace

Queen Beach has got some Business Cards!

Hello lovelies, I hope you are all as happy as I am as the best day of the week is finally here! Friday, I have waited for you all my life/since Monday.

I'm sure you are all aware that I have started going to blogging events (since I've not shut up about it), but I thought I'd share a little behind the scenes action with you all. In my first event, I noticed that a lot of the brands were asking for my blog link and contact details, which is what is expected of us anyway but in all honesty, I felt as though the brands could not really be bothered getting a pen and paper out, or their iPad, just so you can add your name to the long list of bloggers that did not have business cards. So I decided, in an attempt to look more professional, that I will get myself some business cards.

I decided that I will order my cards with moo.com because I ordered my cards for my university end of year exhibiton from there and I remember how sleek and beautiful my own printed cards felt, the quality was great and the price was not bad at all. They have their own designing software on their website which was easy to navigate, but if you prefered designing your own pdf and uploading it, you could do so too.

I love how beautifully packaged moo.com's products are. They always come with a nice little box to hold your cards, I remembered that they did the same with my cards a few years back and I was very pleased. You can also have various different images on the back of your business cards but I decided to just stick with my Queen Beach logo as I am quite pleased with it's aesthetics! I went for moo.com's mini cards, which as you can see is about half the size of a regular business card. Just thought this would stand out and look more unique, and I just thought it looked adorable so why not go for something different!

So I guess that is it for this post, I just wanted to share them on the blog because I was so impressed with them.

Until next time,
Grace
