Bloggers Fashion Week | Gallardo & Blaine Designs

Gallardo & Blaine Designs have some of the most gorgeous jewelry that I have ever laid eyes on. I really love the organic way the wire-like materials and stones work together to create a truly unique piece! I was lucky enough to receive some adorable baby blue studs at the Bloggers Fashion Week event from the lovely lady behind the brand, Madeleine Blaine. Unfortunately I do not have my ears pierced so I forced my beautiful roommate and earring fanatic to do some modelling for me!
(She did get free earrings out of the experience so it's not all bad haha.)

I love how the simplicity of these earring but I feel as though Gallardo & Blaine Designs other pieces of jewelry are far more intricate with a lot more detail, so we decided to style the earrings with a few more earrings to reflect the brand's style and express a little creativity along the way. I also love how there are so many shades of blues in these photographs, compliments the earrings perfectly!

"Gallardo & blaine designs jewellery is designed and made in the UK and ireland. Madeleine Blaine has been making her own jewellery for 15 years after her passion for design was ignited by travelling the world and witnessing the amazing variety of both the ancient and modern arts. This in turn sparked her interest in archetypal symbols, such as the heart, the dragonfly, the tree which feature in much of her work today.

Madeleine's other great inspiration is nature and this reflects in the organic and flowing forms she uses in her designs. Her love of colour has her using a mixture of both silver and gold plate which make her designs incredibly versatile to wear. The use of unusual and exquisite gemstones, hand picked by herself from around the world make her work stand out. She is careful to keep a balance, so that the flowing curves of the designs enhance the natural beauty of the stones without detracting from them. Her work has been described as magical, enchanting, and even branded ' art nouveau with a modern twist'. Works of art to wear.

Her designs range from statement pieces to classically beautiful - suitable for all ages, making them a timeless heirloom to be passed down for generations."

The thing that really drew me into the brand were Madeleine's rings! I rarely feel the urge to purchase rings but when I saw these, I just fell in love and wanted to add all of them to my jewelry collection. Her rings looked infinitely more beautiful in person so if they look this good in photographs, imagine how great they really are in real life! I've picked out a few of my favourite ones and it's become apparent that my favourite stones are 'mystic topaz' and 'moonstone', I just feel like there's something so magical about their aesthetics, almost hypnotising in fact! The next best thing to diamonds and at a much more purse friendly price. You can browse the whole collection on the website here.

What do you think of Gallardo & Blaine Designs? Do you have a favourite stone?
