Hello everyone, hope you are all making the most of our last bits of sunshine! As you know, I went to the Bloggers Fashion Week event hosted by The Bloggers Hangout and got some lovely gifts, one of which was this beautiful rose gold nail polish from True Brit London!
"We’re a nail enamel range that is truly proud of being British – our shades are inspired by our proud heritage to our legendary icons of Fashion and Beauty. We also love London and you can see this throughout our range.
Our opulent formula has been exclusively blended to embrace the very finest ingredients, including Vitamin E, Elderflower & Rose extract, the ultimate in decadence. It was important to us to have a formula that superseded others, hence why we chose the super-glossy, highly-pigmented, 6-free formula you’ll find in our bottles today.
True Brit London was designed and developed by a Colour Professional, who had the aim of creating a product so luxurious, every woman would simply just want one for their dressing room table."
The shade that I am wearing here is called 'Heirloom' and I think that the name does it justice. It's such a beautiful rose gold, almost copper shade that shines brightly under the sunlight yet still very noticeable in the shade without being too loud and sparkly all at the same time. I absolutely loved the quality of this nail enamel, it applies smoothly and dries fairly quickly too! I mean, I did my nails in the morning that these photographs were taken and once dried, they weren't budging throughout the day, which was extremely impressive! I think this shade in particular is quite forgiving, I did scratch one nail when it was still freshly painted but it was easily fixed with a dabble and a couple of presses here and there, probably would not achieve the same effect for solid colours but I think all the metallic colours would be great for people (like me) who tends to smudge and scratch nails before they are dried. The packaging is very patriotic, the bottles come with a removable square cap which is handy as those square caps tend to be difficult to maneuver around, the more traditional and smaller rounded cap gave me more control and helped me achieve this flawless finish. I feel that this would be a perfect autumnal colour to add a touch of sparkle to neutral toned outfits, or perhaps the finishing detail to a wonderful Christmas look!
Their nail polishes costs £12.50 each and will be coming to stores in the UK soon. Yes, not going to lie, it is on the pricey side, however I think that it is fairly priced as you will be paying for the quality of their products whilst at the same time supporting a Truly British Brand. These polishes are definitely one of those treat yourself products that every nail polish enthusiasts need to try, their colours are just heavenly.
I think the next product I'd love to try would be their 'Caviar Base Coat', it just sounds irresistible!
A big thank you to True Brit London for this lovely gift! If you love their nail polishes as much as I do then make sure to follow them on Twitter here. As always, I hope you've enjoyed this post, and please do leave me a comment if you did!
Until next time,
Thank you to my roomie and photographer Sylwia for the photos!
