Beauty Bar | Shea Moisture

Shea Moisture is a brand that is completely new to me but it was one that Angie Walks was a major fan of. They create extremely moisturizing hair care products that will give your hair all the goodness that it needs to look luxuriously healthy and feel silky soft!

(They also have other products for body, men, 'Baby and Mommy', and face on their website too! You can have a look at their full range on their website here.)

I was lucky enough to received their Superfruit Complex 10 in 1 Shampoo and the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen Grow & Restore Treatment Masque as a gift from the Beauty Bar event and I have to say, I have been loving their products.

I think I have briefly mentioned a few times in my blog that I have been suffering from a dry scalp... Which is completely bizarre to me as I have never really suffered from any sort of hair or scalp problems in my life before (aging is not my friend). So I asked the lovely lady if she has anything that could help me out and she recommended their Treatment Masque. You are supposed to put this on from scalp to root, comb through for even coverage and leave it on for about 5-10 minutes. You can leave it on for up to 20 minutes if you'd like. Put on a plastic cap and then put your head underneath a heated dryer or something like that? Unfortunately, I did not have a plastic cap or heated dryer lying around so what I have been doing is washing my hair as usual with their amazing shampoo, and then applying this and combing it through and clip it out of the way, then I'd go about my regular routines like washing my face, brushing my teeth, washing my body, shaving, grooming and whatever else there is to do, and then I'd rinse it off with hot water (I like my showers hot anyway so it made sense). Th results have been fantastic! My scalp was instantly less flaky and after a few more uses, I can hardly see any flakes left, which obviously I am extremely happy about! Let's not forget that this smells so wonderful and tasty! It literally smells like the best caramel snack in the world, but the kind that is just sweet enough to not make you feel sick. It doesn't leave any sticky residue and my hair is always extra soft after every use, trust me I would know cause I just cannot keep my hands off and I'll tell everyone to have a feel too! haha because all good things should be shared! I highly recommend their masque and if all their products are even half as good (which I'm sure they are), then I would also highly recommend everything! It's all worth a try in my opinion. The prices aren't too high for their quality either!

Hope you found this post helpful. As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts so please do leave me some comments.

Have you tried Shea Moisture before? What do you think of them? Are you intrigued about trying Shea Moisture out?

Until next time,
Grace
