Life Goals!

I guess it is that time of the year again, where we reflect on the year that's just gone by and look forward to (or dread) welcoming another year, a fresh start with new year resolutions and all that which I think is all healthy and positive things to do so I thought I'd be a basic b***h and jump on the ban wagon by doing a post on it all for you!

2015 has been a very satisfying year for me. I've got myself 2 new jobs and I feel like I am finally in a job that can give me opportunities to progress. I've made a few close friends and am always making and getting to know new and interesting people. I visit my beautiful family whenever I can. I am more confident in myself and slowly but surely becoming more independent which will help me go and grab new experiences with both hands and live life to the full. I may not have it all but I do feel as though I go home with a smile on my face almost everyday and I know the best is yet to come!

I don't really want to call it new years resolution because I feel like the following things are goals that I will have regardless of the coming new year so I guess I will just call it...

LIFE GOALS:

  1. Move out and find myself my own place in London. Failing that, my own room would suffice as I am currently sharing a room.
  2. Finish my Mandarin course and pass the exam(s).
  3. Progress with my career.
  4. Travel and see the world more.
  5. Start a YouTube channel.
  6. Maintain my awesome social life with awesome people.
  7. Learn more.
  8. Start exercising. Maybe.
  9. Do new things. Spend more time and money on experiences, as opposed to materialistic possessions.
  10. Be happy.

That's it for this post, thought I'd keep it short and sweet so that you didn't have to do too much reading haha. Have you got any life goals that you aim to put into practice in the coming year? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time,
Grace

  3. It sounds like you've had a pretty amazing 2015 and two jobs is impressive. It's always good to have goals so we have motivation to push ourselves forward in life. One of my goals is to step up my exercise and to continue staying healthy.

    1. Aww thank you, Rowena! I did have quite a great year, and these are just a few highlights so there were even more happiness in 2015! I agree, what is life without purpose right? That's probably one of the most important goals in life, to keep healthy! It's so easy to get caught up in everything that we forget to look after ourselves... I know as I am the biggest culprit of this! Good luck and hope you achieve your goals too!

    1. ME TOO! I mean I am quite happy now but I'd like to be more content with myself and what I have, though it's good to have goals and dreams, sometimes I just need to take a breath and appreciate what I have! Thank you so much for your kind words! Really means a lot to me! ♥

    1. Im so happy that you enjoyed it! It's always a positive to think about what we want from life. I really want to be able to speak the language at close to Native level, that would be my end goal! Thank you so much for your comment, really appreciate it!
