Office Concierge AW16 | Grace Lee London | Photography

Dress: Pretty Little Thing, Jeans: Topshop, Coat: H&M, Sunglasses: Primark, Boots: River Island.

Dress: Topshop, Hat: H&M, Shoes: Lipsy.

Jumpsuit: H&M, Shoes: Forever 21, Kimono: Oh My Love.

Before I decided to dedicate my everything into photography, I was once a corporate receptionist employed by Office Concierge (OC)! Whilst working there, OC released an informative magazine filled with company updates, current events, and to my delight they included a fashion and beauty section too.

I remember applying for a social media job in HR, did not get the part due to lack of commercial experience. However, despite not getting the role, they asked me if I would like to make a contribution to the next Autumn/Winter issue and of course, I was delighted to do so. I wrote and photographed a couple of articles on AW16 fashion and beauty trends for them, there was a lot to cover but with the help of a couple of my blogger friends, I pulled together some looks!

I know we are currently closer to AW17 rather than AW16, but I found myself reminiscing and couldn't help but share this with you all. Hope you enjoyed this post!

A visit to Brighton | The Royal Pavilion | Grace Lee London | Explore

Brighton! The town where most bloggers and YouTubers are made, the place for fish and chips by the seaside, and of course the home of the exotic Royal Pavilion!

I've always wanted to see this famous pavilion for myself. So, one sunny bank holiday weekend, I did just that. Brighton has a much more relaxed and chilled out vibe compared to London, there are a lot of pastel colours everywhere you look and the air smells like the British ocean!

Andy and I explored around, had some fish and chips on the pebbly beach, some coffee, browsed the cute local stores, had some amazing ramen, and since it's the weekend we helped ourselves to a drink or two (also posing and looking off into random directions with said drinks) but I also found myself gravitating towards the Pavilion.

I guess I just wanted to see it in all the possible lightings, daylight, sunset, evening, etc. you get the idea... I know it sounds silly but seeing it all lit up in different colours with no one else around made it all worth it!

Quick side note: Brighton has a lot of pretty little streets which make for perfect photography backdrops for portraits!

I really enjoyed our visit to Brighton and would definitely love to visit again, maybe do a few more shoots there too. It's the perfect place if you're looking for a break from the city, the architecture and scenery are delightful contrast from what London has to offer!
